3.2 Wiring Control

The C

ONTROL

is supplied with a 110 V

line cord. This may be detached and discarded if it is desired to run conduit to the

instrument. In this case, supply an appropriate sealed conduit fitting, and supply 85-265 V

power to the correct positions on

the terminal strip located on the power supply circuit board. See Figure 4 and Table 1.

The outputs are also available on the terminal strip. For the 4-20mA loop output, use shielded cable and the sealed fitting

supplied, or conduit and an appropriate fitting, for the output wires.

OTE

: The output fitting is supplied with a short length of cable in it, to assure that the enclosure remains sealed if the fitting is

retained but not used.

A jumper on the power supply board is used to select the alarm level that activates the horn and relay; see Figure 4 and Table 1.

Auxiliary alarms should be powered from an independent power source separate form the instrument power to avoid alarm

failure due to controller malfunction.
